I design site-specific murals that reflect the character of a business, home, or community while considering the architecture, audience, and atmosphere. Each project is developed to create a lasting visual experience that feels intentional, inviting, and uniquely connected to its environment.
UNDERWATER ADVENTURE
Children’s Adjusting Room, Chiropractic Office · Tustin, California
Designed for the children's adjusting room of a chiropractic office, this underwater-themed mural creates a bright, welcoming environment for young patients and their families. Positioned directly in view of the office entrance, the mural was designed to make an immediate impression while complementing the room's existing Nemo-themed adjusting table.
Design Approach
With no windows or natural light in the adjusting room, the palette was intentionally kept bright, soft, and airy to help the space feel more open and inviting. The underwater theme was developed around the room's existing Nemo adjusting table, using playful sea life and ocean imagery to create a cohesive environment without directly replicating the character or movie.
The mural was also designed to encourage interaction. A variety of sea creatures and small details were incorporated throughout the scene, giving children and families things to discover and search for while they wait or receive care. The composition balances these playful moments with a larger underwater scene that can be appreciated immediately from the office entrance.
JOSHUA TREE AIRBNB
Custom Mural · Joshua Tree, California
A custom mural designed for a vacation rental in Joshua Tree, California, inspired by the region's rugged landscape and iconic desert flora. The goal was to create a memorable feature that felt distinctly connected to its surroundings while complementing the home's warm, modern interior.
Design Approach
The mural draws from recognizable elements of the high desert, including Joshua Trees, yucca blooms, agaves, rock formations, and the desert night sky. Rather than illustrating the landscape literally, I translated these elements into simplified forms and silhouettes to create a modern interpretation that complemented the home's interior.
A restrained palette of warm desert tones and muted greens was chosen to work with the natural wood finishes throughout the space. Because the mural spans a long wall, the composition uses varied scale and intentional spacing to create movement and visual continuity without overwhelming the architecture.
The surrounding high desert became the visual language for the mural. Joshua Trees, yucca blooms, agaves, rock formations, and the desert night sky were translated into simplified graphic forms rather than depicted literally.
This allowed the mural to feel unmistakably connected to Joshua Tree while maintaining a modern aesthetic that worked naturally with the architecture and interior.

Designed for the space
Scale, spacing, and color were considered in relation to the length of the wall, existing architecture, and interior finishes.
The finished mural transformed the wall into a defining feature of the property, creating a distinctive sense of place while remaining cohesive with the home's modern desert aesthetic.
